Privacy Policy
Your trading journal entries are private to you. We do not sell, share, or use your data for advertising. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and your rights.
Data we collect
- Account data: Email address (for authentication), display name, and authentication timestamps.
- Trading entries: Daily P&L values, currency, market tags, journal notes, goals, and streaks. These are stored in your private Supabase row-level-secured database rows.
- Preferences: Display currency, theme (light/dark), and UI settings.
- Usage analytics (opt-in): Anonymous product usage via Google Analytics (G-YSTYW17Q78). You can disable this via your browser's Do Not Track setting or by opting out in the cookie banner.
How we use your data
- To authenticate you and keep your journal in sync across devices.
- To display your calendar, stats, goals, and streaks.
- To send password-reset emails (only when you request them).
- Aggregated, anonymous analytics to improve the product.
Data storage and security
- Entries are stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security — your rows are cryptographically isolated from every other user.
- Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256).
- No broker, exchange, or wallet credentials are ever collected.
- A local mirror of your entries is kept in your browser's localStorage for offline access.
Your rights
- Access & export: You can export all your entries to CSV at any time from the dashboard.
- Deletion: Deleting your account permanently removes all your data from our systems within 30 days.
- Rectification: You can edit or delete individual entries at any time.
Third-party services
- Supabase: Database hosting and authentication (EU/US regions).
- Google Analytics: Anonymous usage analytics (only with consent).
- Google AdSense: Displays sponsored ads on public pages (only on public landing pages, not in the dashboard).
Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. Optional analytics and advertising cookies are only set after your explicit consent. See our Cookie Policy for details.
Children's privacy
Trade Tracker is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

We will post any changes here with an updated date. Material changes will be notified via the app.
